A text message reminder service is offered to all patients with a recorded mobile phone number. This allows the surgery to remind patients of booked appointments.
The reminder message will be sent to patients upon making their appointment and again 48 hours before their appointment. If the appointment needs to be cancelled or rearranged, please let us know as soon as possible.
This system will benefit patients by allowing more access to clinicians as the number of missed appointments should decrease with this service.
