Free Practical Guides for a Whole Range of Mental Health Challenges now available online.
One in six people experience mental ill health in their life. Whether it is us personally, or a partner, family member, friend or colleague, it’s important that we can find high quality and accurate information on mental health concerns when we need it most.
That is why NSFT, the local mental health Trust, have partnered with Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust to provide these guides which cover topics from anxiety, low mood and depression, sleep problems, hearing voices and more. They are not a replacement for clinical advice, but they can offer practical tools to help people better understand and manage their mental health, and signpost to further support where needed.
The guides are free to access, available 24/7, and no sign-up or referral is required. They are available in accessible formats including Easy Read, audio and British Sign Language.
