 Victoria Road Surgery

Shingles Vaccine

Again this year the Department of Health are requesting that patients aged 70  and patients aged 78 be vaccinated against Shingles.

The surgery will also be contacting patients aged 79 as patients are eligible for the vaccination until they turn 80 years old.

If you are eligible you will receive a letter, on pink coloured paper, inviting you to attend the surgery.

If you were unable to receive the vaccine last year but are in the eligible groups listed above but have not been sent a letter you will receive a phone call from us to make an appointment for the vaccination.
