Cancelling Appointments - if you no longer need your appointment please make sure that you cancel so that another patient may be seen. (Several hours are lost each week due to non-cancellation).

GP and Nurse Practitioner Appointments - Under our revised appointment scheme that started in August 2015 all GP and Nurse Practitioner appointments are only bookable on the day (not pre-bookable). The scheme does not affect Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant appointments which will remain pre-bookable. Should you require a medical examination or mother and baby check please speak to reception staff.

Improved Access - Since July 2018 the surgery has been offering patients appointments from 8am - 8:30am every morning, this is with a GP, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse and on a Tuesday evening appointments from 6:30pm - 8pm, this is to assist patients who are unable to attend appointments within normal surgery hours.   Patients who can only attend at the weekend have also been considered in this new incentive and Rosedale surgery are opening up some appointments for Victoria Road Surgery patients on a Sunday to assist if you work away all week.   If you think these appointments could benefit yourselves please contact the surgery to pre-book these appointments, please do not ring Rosedale surgery as they are unable to book appointments for our patients, this needs to be done via Victoria Road Surgery appointment staff.

We do try to keep to time with appointments, however, problems do occur and doctors are sometimes called out to emergencies. Please be a patient patient if you are kept waiting, it could be you that causes the wait next time!

There is a no smoking policy in the building.

There are a limited number of parking spaces for patients. Please do not park on the access road leading to the Beeches Mobile Home Site.

Should you require emergency medical attention outside of our normal opening hours, 8am-6:30pm, please contact the NHS 111 Service.
